It was a cold day in December of 2014. I hadn't built up enough courage to do the raid yet in destiny. All of my friends were doing, it but at the time I just hadn't played the game enough to go get a raid group that would accept a lower light level 13 year old kid , but today was finally the day I attempted the vault of glass I had heard all about it the rewards, the time it takes, the dedication. The raid was no easy task and the day it was announced thousands of people were stumped and couldn't even do it because of the confusing puzzles and just the overall hardness of the overall raid in general. I've definitely had my fair share of having to leave early and it is very frustrating. But enough of all that let's get back to the story. You start the raid off of course in a puzzle I was already nervous the thing about raids is everyone has to do their part or you fail and have to restart that section of the raid. The way it works is there is three platforms 2 people per platform a total of 6 people I was in the middle the easiest since I was the newest I was scared the enemies were very hard to kill we had to fight them off and the portal opened we got to walk in. Now this is where things got a lot tougher. We had to fight off enemies again, but this time things were timed and we had to shoot down …show more content…
The next part was one of the most difficult of the raids for us and took us probably around two hours it's still was the same idea with the 3 platforms and having to kill enemies but this time there was a boss. It has a shield and you have to find a way to take down the shield I was an inexperienced raider so all I did was shoot, but the more experienced raider holds a shield to take the boss’s shield down. I was helping do damage to the boss while also killing as many enemies as I could like I said it really is a overall group effort. We finally killed the boss and I got my first reward radiant shards there basically nothing I was very upset but I knew there was a lot more rewards to come. Another jumping puzzle and we got to the my favorite part the exoctic chest. I was so excited to open and I got an exotic it is very important to realize this was not guaranteed I got the red death. I wasn't able to use it though it wasn't maxed out yet. What had finally felt like for over we finally got to the end, but we had to face the boss I had started sweating I was so
