The packer crime controls and due process models have significant value. The crime control model contains traditional and conservative values and the due process models contain liberal and traditional values. The crime control model is about behavior control for criminals first and foremost and efficiency to speed up the process when it comes to criminal processing. Packer created this process based on an assembly line process. This does not make this control more efficient because you cannot always move swiftly or take the same necessary steps to find a criminal guilty or innocent. The courtroom process itself is not a speedy process, therefore the Packer process is not the best method in my opinion.

This includes the police, jury, and the courts but with the due process model the suspect must be legally guilty and guilty by evidence and the facts presented. They both support one another because when the factual guilt has been sustained this supports the legal guilt. This is also to eliminate how the police, attorneys, and the courts wrongly convict innocent suspects far too frequently.
With the due process model, this allows the defendants a much better chance to receive justice through this process. President Obama has brought the due process model back to surface ever since his election to the Presidency. This is being firm but fair while capturing the facts and ensuring that the defendants are safe and treated fairly.
The Packer model was designed to increase the completion of the trial, protect solely the victims, allow the police to make arrests, searches, seizures, and convictions swifter and easier. Remove the technicalities that free defendants, take the police word and the word of the prosecutors because their word is reliable. This is not true justice and this cannot decrease the volume of crime on the streets because there will be innocent people convicted and the guilty still will remain at large committing crimes and taking more
