On Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at around 10:12 pm, I, Sergeant Bever responded to the area of University Dr and Ladnier Rd for a reported armed robbery. When I arrived on-scene, the victim, Lashun Love Jr was at the intersection and was driving a blue mustang. Love said he was just robbed and the offender was last seen running on Southern Dr. Love then showed me the area on Southern where the offender was last seen and I had him stop at Unviersity Dr. I told Love to show me exactly where the robbery took place and he took me to 2107 University Dr.

Love said he went to 2107 University Dr to make a Pizza Hut delivery. While in front of the residence, he was robbed by gunpoint of the money he had on him. Love described the offender as a black male, with dread locks, about 5'8" tall, around 200 lbs., wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, grey pants and had a black semi-automatic pistol. Love said the black male left the area on foot, running north on Southern Dr. I then left the scene and drove around looking for the offender while Officer McQuagge got a statement from the victim. …show more content…
