Before taking this class I really did not know that much about Criminal justice, but the basics, You do a crime you have to do the time. But as we go go through the modules and read the information my point of view has changed so much for the law enforcement so much information that we have learned and it makes me appreciate them a little more and all their hard work they have done and the work they still do. I really love learning as much as I can because when I found out that my husband was applying for a job as law enforcement I got a little more interested because in that way I can help him in his career in the long run. we all have different point of views and we all see things all little different, but at the end the bad cops get caught just like the bad criminals get caught. Just because some cops get caught doing some bad things that does not mean that all cops should be viewed as bad or they deserve to die. At the end of the day they are still human like you and me and they have families to go home to, my attitude also became more dedicated in law enforcement when I learned about how prison was back in the day, that they use to brand them and some prisoners where even treated as slaves. It hurts to say I wish that was not the case, but I hope they do come up with a system that makes prisoners realize that jail is not the answer because now a days prisons are being over populated. lesser and lesser space . But as I said that cops are human I still despise the fact that people do not support the men in blue but when it comes to it, there are always the first persons they call when their car gets stolen or when something happens to them ,why maybe I hope this class changes some of their attitudes like it changed
