Criminal Justice Process

Administration of Justice system is the legal system that contains courts, law enforcement detection, investigation, apprehension, interviewing and trial of persons suspected of crime. This course was designed to help students to train in communication of facts and information of ideas in simple, clear, logical English, such as learning the basics skills. For example using the correct usage of words or sentence structure is important skill to be strong in when entering the criminal justice system. This course also focused on critical thinking and techniques of observation which play a big role in law enforcement today. How did the course relate to the study of the Administration of Justice? This course relates to the fundamental side of Administration of Justice . Having any job in this field requires you to have good judgement and to use critical thinking in any type of situation you are faced with. We were taught how to strengthen our communication skills and writing skills. Main Part of police officers jobs is to document everything down that happened during their time on duty. Many say learning good writing skills is more difficult than learning to speak a language. Using the correct grammar and appropriate words is crucial in order to be efficient in writing. It can lead to miscommunication or your credibility when writing. According to ( Harvey Wallace, Cliff Robberson, Pg 4, 2013) some keys to good writing are avoiding loose sentences. When using loose sentences they tend to run on without a sense of direction, which leads to getting off topic and not getting your point across.
