Critical Care (2011) by Theresa Brown was not only such an amazing read, but a real eye-opener. The way she reports her emotions through everything she experiences starting out as a nurse on an oncology floor is so honest and brings to light many issues that we, as future nurses, will most definitely fact at some point in our careers. Probably the biggest issue is dealing with death of patients as well as end of life care. Whenever I think about my future nursing career an image of taking care of and getting to know patients pops up in my head.
