The critical race theory is a theory that says people of color are automatically treated unfairly and unequally in our society because of their race. Critical Race Theory or CRT may in fact create more racism as it has a constant focus on race, creating racial tension. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a dream” speech clearly stated he wished one day people would be treated based on their character and not their skin color. I think both Martin Luther King Jr. and CRT want equality, but they have different views on how to achieve it.
