The Cuban Missile Crisis was a 13-day confrontation between the USSR, Cuba, and the USA. The main people involved included, Fidel Castro of Cuba, President John F. Kennedy of the US, and President Nikita Khushchev of the USSR. The 13-day confrontation lasted from October 16, 1962 to October 28, 1962. The Cuban Missile Crisis almost sparked an oncoming nuclear war between the powers and was possible to include the rest of the world. Thankfully, in the end, everything worked out and no nuclear war started.
