I have learned that advocating for those who are vulnerable and disadvantaged is a challenging journey. It is the work of the social worker to exhaust all options to promote and advance human rights, social, economic and environmental justice for each client they serve. Social workers must promote the rights of every individual regardless of what the client situation is. Understanding cultural differences and how those differences affect how culturally different clients are treated. For example while working at Mason and Partner Clinic, I have notice that there is a lack of access to basic needs such as food, transportation and housing, which creates a stigma towards the majority of the undocumented community served at the clinic. Many of the
