Around the world in 80 days is a story about a man named phileas fogg who makes a wager for 20,000 pounds that he can make it around the world in 80 days or less. I chose to choose this event because it was a good opportunity to us this a cultural event. My expectations were that the play would be alright because it was only played by 5 actor. The Around the world in 80 days play at the Village Theater had a couple of good scenes other than that i thought it wasn’t very exciting. There was a couple good scenes in the play Around the world in 80 days.
Around the world in 80 days is about a man and his servant who try and make it around the world in 80 days on train and boat. 2 highlights of the play were, phileas fogg makes a wager for 20000 pounds that he can make it around the world in 80 days or less. At the end he gets back home but phileas thinks he didn’t make it but really he did because of the international dateline, he was one day ahead. At the end of the play there was mixed opinions on how the play was. My feelings after the play were that there was some good parts to the play and there was some other parts that I didn’t like so much. Before the play i thought it wouldn’t be very good because there was only five actors, but it ended up being a little better than I thought. The play around the world in 80 days had its good parts but otherwise wasn’t very exciting. I thought this play was acted well, but i think some
