Between the 1990’s and the 2000’s you see a great amount of cultural problems that can be seen as a war on culture. Political problems also arose including president Bush’s presidency and the election of Bill Clinton. The attacks on the World Trade Center also stroked a lot of controversy between the Americans. Major cultural problems during this time included the debates over abortion, gun policies, privacy, drugs, and homosexuality. This also banned states from making the decision of not allowing abortion in their states but was allowed to regulate an abortion in regards to the women’s health. Another big controversy was about homosexuality and another that to this day has had a long lasting effect in America. In 2015 the United States passed a law that said that same sex marriage was legal in all the states in the United States but even then the controversy doesn’t end.
