My opinion on Curley and his very callow behavior is that he is someone who likes to be in charge.Picking fights with men who are much larger is a very dumb decision. They can let him beat them up because he is he bosses son.You can't always get away with being the bosses son. They can eventually beat him up if they decide they don't their jobs anymore. In the beginning of meeting curly is looking for his wife. When he sees Lennie he start messing with him.George kept answering questions for Lennie that Curley asked.Curley get mad because Lennie didn't answer. In the book Candy describes Curley as a" According to Candy, Curley is an amateur boxer and is always picking fights, especially with guys who are bigger than he is" (Curley https://www.cliffsnotes.com/literature/o/of-mice-and-men/character-analysis/curley).I …show more content…
Curley’s wife doesn't get out much because she always in her and curlers home.Curley is very strict when it come to his wife.If he catches any man talking to his lady he would think they were trying to make a move on her. When Curley is not around she goes around the ranch trying to make conversations with men. They all avoid her, because is jail bait.In the book Curley’s wife is a fifteen year old, rude, always looking for Curley, and everyone thinks she flirts or goes after other men.In the movie Curley’s wife is looks much older than fifteen, lonely and want to make conversation with anyone. What the book and movie have in common is that she doesn’t really like Curley. She only married him to get away from her mother. She believes she could’ve been famous, but in reality the men who offered her “jobs” just wanted something else from …show more content…
Curley deceivers this punishment because he’s been messing with Lennie just because he’s larger than him.To save his reputation slim say to "tell everyone you got it caught in a machine"(http://www.enotes.com/homework-help/why-does-curley-agree-he-wont-tell-about-lennie-471155).Lennie was the first person to stand up to Curley.I just wished Lennie could’ve done something when he met Curley the first time.As the book gets closer to the end Lennie accidentally kills Curley’s wife and Curley is furious. Curley wants to kill Lennie as soon as he sees him.I felt bad,Lennie didn’t mean to kill her.In the end George ands up shooting Lennie in the back of the head. In conclusions Curley’s petulant behavior has ended him up with a broken hand. Some people even disrespected him.If there was a second book of “Of Mice And Men” I hope Curley learned his lesson and became somewhat
