Cyberbullying is a huge problem in the United States. Lots of kids get bullied in person, but other kids get bullied on the internet and nobody else knows. The kids getting bullied on the internet, mostly don’t tell adults. They probably think if they tell an adult, the issue will get worse. They think they will get bullied more because they told.
Over 40% of all the kids in the United States get bullied, and probably half of them do nothing about it. The problem can get solved if adults are told. More than 70% of all kids see cyberbullying online, but say nothing to others, but still 63% of those kids say it's a serious problem.

There is good evidence that young people often do not report bullying to adults. Children are adept at hiding bullying-related behaviors and the unequal "shadow" power dynamics that can exist among them. Because of this secrecy, adults underestimate the seriousness and extent of bullying at their schools.Kids feel ashamed, afraid, or powerless. Students may not report being victims of bullying because it makes them feel ashamed, afraid, and powerless. Because adults rarely intervene, young people may come to believe they can bully without any consequences. Some students get hacked, and then cyberbullied. Students and kids need to keep their passwords and usernames to themselves, so they won’t spread to other people. Cyberbullying has a huge impact on kids, and so that means that kids have to take action.
There are lots of solutions to cyberbullying, but they are not easy to work out right away. Telling an adult may work, but lots of students are afraid to ask. Telling an adult will soon stop the bullying online, students need to reach out for help when it is needed. If a friend is getting cyberbullied the other person has to take action. 1-6 kid’s parents know that they are getting cyberbullied online, it should be 6-6, kids need to stop being afraid, and start
