2.2- When working with children you will have children that come from many different backgrounds or home life environment’s which could mean that if they do not feel wanted or get attention at home then this could mean they may start to act out at nursery to be able to gain attention from other adults. A child may not live with a certain parent anymore or is not aloud contact then this could mean that the child is feeling lost and does not like the change and may feel like they can’t trust and connect with anyone in the setting.

2.3- by working towards the framework in the setting means that we are able to cover all of the prime areas in able to help the child to achieve their goals. When you get to know the children you are able to see what types of way they like to learn whether it’s a form of messy play, physical activities or singing and dancing. The framework is there for us to work alongside to make sure that we are on the right track in helping the child achieve their potential. Not all of the children are going to work at the same pace and may need twice as long to complete their next steps.

If a child has a problem with their speech it is important that you get them to see someone for help. This could help the child with creating relationships with other children which could then lead on to them achieving many other goals and next steps. If the child is not confident in working in a group, then it is important that you start on a one to one then gradually add more children in without making the child feel like they are being put on the
