The story is about Cyrano de Bergerac.

Cyrano has a very big nose and a lot of people make fun of him because of it. He fell in love with his cousin Roxane but Roxana loved Christian. Christian was about to go to war and Roxane asked Cyrano to protect Christian in the war. Because he loved Roxane Cyrano agreed to protect Christian.

Cyrano is still angry about Roxane loving Christian but still tells Christian how Roxane feels about him and offers to write her love letters for him so Roxane thinks Christian is romantic.
Christian thinks he can do it on his own once so he tells Cyrano he does not want help but he makes a fool of himself but lucky Cyrano saves him by pushing him out of the way and doing it himself.
