In the three stories, “Dangerous Game”, “Ambush”, and “Sniper” have a similar and different setting, conflict, and theme. The setting in each of the stories, though in various places, all took place outside. The characters in each story were also all involved in battles. As well as faced life or death situations, where if they hadn’t acted fast they would have been killed. The conflicts were similar because they were all fighting for their lives. In the stories “Dangerous Game” and “Sniper” the main characters were fighting against an opponent while in the third story the main character was dealing with a more internal conflict. The themes of the text could all be the same, the common theme could be something along the line of, every war
