Darrell Madden is the focus of my interview paper, now being 78 years of age, living in Richmond Indiana. Darrell Madden when asked to summarize his life to me, explained that his life had been good that when he was younger he joined the Navy and then met my grandmother Minnie, they had five children together. Darrell explained that although life has been good there had been disappoints along the way such as the loss of one of his children. This set back in life was hard, family time from there became stronger and meant more pushing the family to hold on to each other in a way they had not earlier. Today I will tell Darrell Madden’s life story reviewing it with Erik Erikson’s stages of development. (McLeod)
