Mary Leakey, a British scientist, says, “Theories come and go, but fundamental evidence always remains the same.” D.B. Cooper, one of the first airline hijackers to change aviation forever. The day before Thanksgiving 1971, Cooper hijacked a Boeing 727. His flight took him from Portland to Seattle. The curiosity behind D.B. Cooper can be boiled down to 2 theories: Escaping unfound and working for Boeing. While we know Cooper escaped, the conundrum behind his decampment or his job at Boeing are the most prominent theories. The man named Dan Cooper and not D.B. Cooper, held a plane ticket to Seattle, on Wednesday November 24 (“D.B. Cooper”). He took control of a Boeing 727 from Northwest Orient Airlines (Jones).
