Have you ever considered what it means to be great? In order to be great, you need to be selfless, wise, and courageous. Alexander the Great is famous for conquering the Persian Empire at age 20 and creating one of the largest empires the world has ever seen. He was from the city state of Macedonia in Greece. After conquering the Persian Empire, he wanted to join the two races. So, he married King Darius's daughter and made his army marry Persian women. Alexander the Great is not deserving of his nickname. For example, after one of his battles, Alexander instructed everyone except people who were safe in the temple to be killed(Document C).
