For the past two weeks I have been studying the United States budget. What I found out is that over 82 percent of the budget goes to the Big Five, which are; Medicare, Social Security, Defense, safety net programs, interest on national debt. Are we slicing the pie correctly, where does the money need to go. In each of the tree budget clusters, The U.S. government should make adjustments in the way it is distributed money to changes involving the five the middle five and the changes to the little guys. This will benefit the country in so many ways; first, it will take tension out of all the countries that we owe money to. Also if the country wants their money we don’t have it so they could start a war with the United States. Finely, I would focus on the social security because it is import for elderly to have an income to survive when they are over 65. “Social security provides retirement benefits (money) to retired workers, to families of workers who have disable people”(Document C). First, Veterans pay would be the on my top priority because if one is willing to die for your country you should get money serving ones country for that. Includes border control and immigrants enforcement cost guard, TSA, FEMA” (Document C). Also, this falls under domestic tranquility. Finely is homeland security is very impotent because it protects the people form bombings from terrorist. Also, it is to enforce boarder control because there is a lot of illegal immigration in the
