I think The family Laws, The property laws, and the personal laws were to harsh and this is why! Document C Family law is about if a son slaps the father the sons hands shall be cut off ,If a son of a father slaps the father his hands shall be cut off but, what if the son needs to work for the father and the father forgot he needed to work the next for him. If the son slaps the father and his hands shall be cut off the father also may half to feed the child and wash him, etc. If the father does cut his son’s hands off then the son couldn’t defend himself if there house has been broken into. All of this stuff is located on page 17, laws 148, 168, and 195 in the Hammurabi packet.

Why would a guy break into a guys house 4000 years ago there’s nothing important back in the day except money. If a man breaks into a guy's house he shouldn't be killed for stealing a fork but then again it depends on what he stole that was important to the guy that has been broken into. If a man digs a trench for his water and washes his neighbors plants away I think the guy that washed his plants away he doesn't half to replace them because he could be a neighbor that stole or took something from the guy that washed his plants away. If someone breaks into a guy's house and knocks his eye out so he can't see what the robber looked like or what he stole. All of this stuff is located on page 19, Laws 21, 53, and 54. Document E Personal-injury law is about a guy that makes another guy go half blind, If a man knocks another guy's eye out and his wife is pregnant so the man won't be able to see the baby as easy when it's born. If a guy jumped off a little cliff but got really close to dying and he goes to the surgeon's room to get closer to living than dying and then the surgeon makes him live then he dies the next day and the surgeon's hands will still be cut off and that's harsh. All of this stuff is located on page 21, Laws 196, 215, and 218.
