The Dead Sea scrolls are another artifact/ruin that Bedouin shepherds had found. It is a collection of 981 different texts. It has been found between 1946-1956. They found them all in 11 different caves. It contains texts from over 2,000 years ago. It is a great historical, religious and linguistic significant finding because it's one of the oldest manuscripts and they include some writing of the Torah. The significance of these scrolls is that these are the oldest manuscripts of the bible. These scrolls were dating to the 10th century Ce.
