On October 2, 2017 the deadliest mass shootings in American history took place. Stephen Paddock, a 64 year old from Sun Valley California, opened fire on a country music festival filled with 22,000 people. From the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Stephen shot and killed 59 people and injured more than 500 others. Reportedly Paddock was firing off an M240, which is the same gun that is used in our U.S. military. 31 of our 50 states allow the carrying of guns without any license or permit. There has been over 1,500 mass shooting in the United States alone since the last deadliest shooting at an Orlando nightclub in June of 2016. Do we need to live like this? Everyone living in America is at risk of being a victim of a random mass shooting or any gun attack.
