In the novel, Dealing with Dragons by Patricia C. Wrede, the main character Cimorene helps Kazul with the problem in the dragon kingdom. In the satirical fairy tale, Princess Cimorene hated life as a princess in Linderwall. Her parents wanted her to get married so, they took her to Prince Therandil’s castle to wed the prince. Shortly after arriving, Princess Cimorene was very annoyed by the prince and walked out of the castle into the garden. While in the garden, she heard a voice coming from a frog. The frog told her to follow a path away from the mountains to a hovel, which is the home of Kazul the dragon. When she reaches the hovel, she is to knock on the door three times then snap. After she arrives, Cimorene volunteers to work for Kazul. Finally, Cimorene becomes Kazul’s princess and saves the dragons from the wizards. Although Cimorene ignored the princess protocol, her actions in helping save the dragons from the dreadful wizards were justified.
Therefore, Cimorene decides to proceed to Kazul’s cave to flee from her castle life. Her option to belong to a dragon is very unusual, for someone of her status, and yet her odd hobbies. In the satirical fairy tale, one of

The friends are different in many ways, but also have some similar qualities. Alianora appreciates living in a castle, wearing elaborate dresses and crowns, and she enjoys sewing as well as following proper etiquette. Also, she would not mind if a prince were to rescue her, unlike her friend Cimorene. However, Cimorene and Alinora share some similarities.They both relish learning and trying new things, and find the other princesses very dull. Cimorene and Alinora are very different from the other princesses and did not always do things a princess would do. Finally, although Cimorene and Alinora felt differently about the princess lifestyle, they also shared some adventurous
