With the emergence of video games in the 1900s, Carly Kocurek, wrote about the historic construction of video games and its culture in the United States. She started off by doing research and wrote about video games and its correlation to violence. She believes that the game Death Race 2000 depticed a ton of violence which caused military and a ton of other violence. Violent video games have lead to the development of other similar games. This game was inspired by the film Death Race 2000, and “the film is intended as dystopic social satire”. It is supposed to mock how society is being run by the government and that there is “nothing to say beyond the superficial”. The government and film industry is very accepting of the violence within video
