Worldwide look at dolphins whether if it is ethical to harm dolphins for using meats, held them in captivity, and using for entertainment. Japanese people look at eating dolphins’ meats is normal to them. There are widely debates against that idea of eating dolphins’ meat. The western civilization condemns the idea of eating dolphins' meat. Other things, many fishers fishing for fishes, and sometimes accidentally got dolphins on the boat. They didn’t even bother to rescue dolphins and place them back in the sea. There are widely controversies whether fishers abandoned dolphins on the boat. Scientists revealed that dolphins had large and complex brains. This kind of brain capacity that allowed to develop social and communication skills. This kind of brain size is perfectly suitable for dolphins to live in a large environment such as the open-spaced ocean. Dolphins can do more things than in captivity. In the ocean, dolphins able to develop some bonds. For example, some male dolphins use sexually coerce females to have sex with him. Or some male dolphins defeat other male coalitions. This is an example of male dolphins competition with each other to win female dolphins. After that when mother born calves. They have a long-term bonding for a good two years. Other than sex, dolphins can do anything more than ever in the ocean. They play, bond, imitate, learn lessons from each other and transfer information from generation to generation. Dolphins have abilities to social, emotions, and communication with other dolphins. It is marvelous to know that type of intelligence in dolphins. I always stressed emphasize of emotions in animals. I don’t believe to see some animals depressed being not free instead imprisoned in captivity. There is some evidence against dolphins being held in captivity. Scientists reported that 50% of dolphins usually died within seven years in captivity. Dolphins is unlike other animals, do not quickly adjust to the new locations. Another evidence that there are many species of dolphins is sent back to wild after unsuccessful attempts to breed. Bottlenose dolphins are the only ones that successfully breed in captivity. This is a sign of dolphins’ stress to adapt to new environment. Is it ethical to hold dolphins in captivity? I would be rather to let dolphins freely down the ocean. Other than that, I notice that some several dolphins dorsal fins bend down not straight up. This is an example of stress. I already saw evidence present that dolphins do not adapt into captivity very well. I think it best to let dolphins roam freely around the ocean. Either if any attractions want to have dolphins in their show. I would be rather to have a park attraction by the beach, or a man build beach flow to attraction.
