Conveying Information
The way that information is transferred from writing to paper is very important. Writing can be especially difficult to get certain emotions, or ways of thinking across to a certain audience through writing. It is a delicate balance between getting a certain point across without being too overbearing with a definite way of writing. A better way to convey information is to have a tactful tone. Being respectful to both sides of an argument, information, and just writing in general will give a professional presence in the writing and it is something that everyone should use when writing. Using sources and having actual evidence behind information will make it much more credible and will allow the audience to believe what a writer is saying. It has more of an impact when trying to get a message across to the audience or trying to persuade them a certain way. For instance, “In Rorschach psychological testing, the subject is presented with a meaningless arrangement of blots or marks on the page” (Rosak 89). Now, he did not use a source here but he used something that is scientifically proven. And by doing this he conveys information much better than he would of if he just said something off the top of his head or an observation with no evidence behind
