Decentralized Federalism is a type of government in which some of the responsibilities are under the control of Provinces and federal government sets their boundaries. In Canada provinces play a great role in development and organizing the country. The states, which have the provincial system usually, have federal government to observe their activities. Local people show a lot more interest in provincial issues then the federal. The rights of people living in that region can be protected easily. The main purpose of federalism is to run the government in such a way that public of that area wants to run. The division of the government helps to meet the needs of people in a better way. He did a lot of working in making such laws, which will unite the country, but he mainly focused on central government so that all provinces can get same and equal benefits from the resources. Macdonald made the law in such a way that it never shows that the law in provincial government is showing his perception. Macdonald was a great leader of Canada and has bought a lot of positive changes for the betterment of Canadians. A lot of politicians in his era use to say that Canada should be a British colony again but he was extremely against those Ideas. He started to believe that Canada should be only governed by Canadian and came up with an idea to divide the government into two different parts. In 1864, a meeting took place between all the provinces of Canada and in that meeting they decided Macdonald was the very important spokesperson and he was speaking in support of “federal union”. The meeting was postponing till October. Members came together in Montreal and they Macdonald supported “ federal scheme” and he came up with two really good argues. He wants Canada to be separated because he proves that with out being a colony the country will me more strong and powerful. In Canadian constitution the law is supreme. The constitution is created in a very ideal way that the citizen can trust the government. The bursaries and politicians are serving the people in the boundaries of law. It is a very good thing that provinces in Canada are becoming more powerful because they are more close to the public and they can solve the problems in a better way then federal government. In Federal government the law is same for every body and apply the same way to all provinces. In provincial government every province has its own law and they can has the different constitution then other provinces, if they think that their need is not being full filled. Canada is a large country by geographic point of view and federal government is located in Ottawa and it is very hard for them to keep a track and solve the problems. In my view the more strong the provinces are the more better and sooth the government will be to govern. The provinces are better more power because Canada is developing and provinces are building their trust and the power from federal government is being transfer to the provincial
