Would today be a lot different if back then the Declaration of Independence was not signed? Back in 1776 the Declaration of Independence was created by Thomas Jefferson and put out into our world with the four principles. To that day our world changed. All people are created equal, All people have basic rights that cannot be taken away, The government gets it power to make decisions and protect rights from the people, When the government does not protect the rights of the people, the people have the right to change or remove the government. But is that the case, does our government follow those principles? Or did they abandon them?

All people are created equal to the government, is that the case to me? Yes. In my opinion I think our government follows those principles well. The government cares just as much for a poor person as they do for a wealthy person. Or as one person may be tall or one may be short. They are all created equal, treated the same, and given the same rights. If they weren't given the same rights some people would not be able to go in some stores or wherever they've made that law. But there is none of that is going on so the government has kept up with this principle.

I think all these principles apply in today's government as compared to the four principles made in the Declaration of Independence. All people are created equal no matter how rich or poor, or how short or tall. All people have have have rights but they can be taken away from health issues or criminal records. The government gets it power to make decisions and protect rights from the people because the government allows us the people to vote. Lastly we can over rule our leader if they do not rule in a way that the citizens agree with. So the real question is does the government follow those
