Fish hatcheries allow for fishing to continue as certain species of fish populations decline. As well as their ecological use they also prevent the spread of diseases and parasites. They allow for a safe introduction of mass amounts of particular fish without the downside of overcrowding and overpopulation. On a larger scale they also prevent predators from getting a hold of younger fish before they are of a substantial size, which allows the populations of predator to flourish , but also the prey.

Hatcheries give people that want to help fish populate and grow a chance to do that and also teach you more about the job of hatching fish.
Hatcheries use their equipment to help take diseases out of waterways by keeping their fish very healthy feeding the them certain feed and cleaning the hatcheries. They use special trucks to transport these fish to new habitats. Fish are very easily stressed out like people are but, they will get sick and if stressed too much will lead to death. That's why having a special tanker truck that cares the water without slushing the water back and forth is very important in this job. The fish in these hatcheries are different from ones hatched in the wild because they are much healthier and strong they usually take over waterways and ponds quickly. These fish can take over a pond or creek less than a year because they are healthy grown fish.
Fish being healthy and strong help our environment stay strong and working properly. The fish will keep the fish that eat them healthy when they get hungry. The fish will keep the people that eat them healthy. Bears and eagles eat fish straight out the pond and streams all the time and if the stream was straight out hatcheries are
