“Pursuing Truth. Defending Liberty.” As soon as I saw those words spelled out on Hillsdale’s website, I knew it was the college for me. I plan to pursue a career that focuses on the ideals of truth and liberty. I developed a passion for politics in middle school, always keeping myself up to date and educated on the current political climate of the United States. It is this passion that drives my desire to study political science, with my long-term goal being a career in public policy. I believe that the Political Economy Major, in particular, will fully prepare me for my endeavors in this regard.
