Not all heroes wear capes. I know because heroes are not defined by only super abilities. Heroes are defined by the content of their heart. They are defined by the good they bring to the world. Heroes are characterized by all of the changes they bring into fruition. True heroes can even be determined by the amount of uninhabited courage that they use to make a difference through helping those in need. Essentially, heroes are just normal people who go above and beyond to make a difference. True heroes do not shy away when something becomes difficult, they muster up their strength and go at the conflict head on.
One of my greatest heroes is my mother. She has done an ample amount, not just for me, but for my family and even those outside of my family. My mother single handedly raised my three older sisters, while she returned to school to accomplish a degree in business and maintaining two jobs. My mom used her strength and courage to raise us. She taught me to give from my heart to people who need it and God will give to me. She always sends barrels upon barrels to Jamaica filled with food, clothes and food for the less fortunate people down there. My mom’s support is unconditional, and I know no matter what that she will support me through whatever I do, and that goes for the rest of my sisters and family. She's always been there for us and will continue to be there. I love her with all of my heart and thank her for loving and raising us to be strong women. One day, I wish to be an image of my mother. I wish to have her strength and courage, her understanding; I wish to be as caring as she is; I wish to be a wonderful mother to my children as my mother is to my sisters and I; and most of all, I wish for her to be proud of me because that is the least I could do after all she has done for
