A hero, well according to the famous Google, is “a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.” Seems legit. Unless your ‘North American’ then it is, according to Google, “another name for submarine sandwich.” I mean, how cool would it be to be a sub?! Besides the fact of being eaten, that would be pretty cool. Now that we got the basics, time for the deep stuff. To start us off, a hero doesn’t have to be a person, it can be anything. Your hero can be music, art, a quote, your favorite food, so on and so forth. But, it can be a person. It could be your parents, your god, your sibling(s), grandparent(s), etc. Theoretically a hero could be whatever/whoever you want it to be. Typically a hero wears a cape, is brave and courageous. My hero, is no one. Well it could be me, because this is very courageous, not writing about a hero, but then again I barely fit the title of courageous, nonetheless the rest of the heroic qualities. I mean Spider-man swung from buildings, Batman got into high speed car chases in his Batmobile, and the Hulk goes around smashing things that aren’t his. Call me crazy but those all seem pretty courageous, because you wouldn’t catch me doing any of those things. A hero doesn’t have to swing from buildings but can simply taking risks to help those in need. For example, Firefighters, Police Officers, Field Agents, or even a citizen that is willing to jump in front of a bus to save someone they don’t even know (*cough* George O’Malley *cough*). But they could just be courageous enough to stand up for something they believe in at a political rally, in public, social media, or even just in their home. Although there are many people who could be my hero because of their courageousness, nobody sticks out is a good enough role
