When one is asked, “what do you think the definition of success is and how do you know that you became successful?” You will most likely get a different answer each and every time. Success comes in many different definitions and forms and the outcomes of when one feels successful is truly different in one’s eyes. According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Success is define as the following; favorable or desired outcome and the attainment of wealth, favor or eminence. Many people would agree with this, many people would not agree with this definition. One may think that success solely revolves around being happy with how ones life is going. It could be a 40 hour job a week, food on the table, and seeing a smile on the one they love could be define in one’s eyes as being successful. One may think that achieving success in ones life by just having good health and staying healthy. So, success may have one or two set in stone definitions, but it is the people that broad out the actual word and give …show more content…
One way that people may feel success in their lives is by simply getting married and having a family. When one thinks about success, one may forget that it could be the simplest thing that could be a huge success to one’s life. Having a child could be a huge successful part of one’s life, losing 5 pounds in the span of 4 days, could be a huge success to one’s life. Finishing a big meal on time on Thanksgiving so the family members do not ring one’s neck could be define as a simple success story. Any sort of little thing could be define as success to someone and nobody should take that away from that one person ever. If a husband and wife is sitting out on their porch looking out a the sunset with their children running around playing in the grass with their dog, skipper, playing with them and they both have huge smiles on their faces.
