Savannah, outstanding job on your discussion. I think you couldn't be more right when stating, children typically base their political views off of what their parents views are. My family is all Democratic also. When I was younger I looked into both parties to see what the big deal was about. I wanted to know more. I then took the political issues my parents were always discussing, and applied both parties ideas to them. I then began to understand why my parents favored the Democratic view over Republican view. I too am now a Democrat. It is always good for you to understand both parties ideas before you pick one. If you end up just picking one you may be voting for something you do not agree with.
