He hands out baseballs to kids at games and loves to help out off the field. You could say he is quite the captain. Even though Derek Jeter is an amazing baseball, but he is a family man first. When his sister, Sharlee, was diagnosed with cancer, that was number 1 in Derek’s mind. Set aside playing in the World Series. This proves that Derek is very humble.
