Descriptive essay Adrian Peterson is known as a running back for the Minnesota Vikings. He is a role model who shows pride and courage in every down he plays even through all of his trials and tribulations he faced. This phenomenal man is an exciting player who gets people excited, ecstatic, or whatever type of joy you could possibly have when you see him run the football. He just makes you want to watch the game of football. The people who followed or knew Adrian Peterson since he was young would say those words. As his seasons went by he put up stats nobody has ever had in a five year span of their career. In his 6th season he suffered the worst injury a running back can possibly have by tearing his ACL not once but twice in the same year. Knowing the freak that Adrian Peterson is he worked constantly because he was so determined to come back to the NFL because that’s the type of person he is, he’s a competitor. Adrian Peterson is still in his prime. At the age of 27 he came back this year from a torn ACL and MCL, knowing the freak of nature that Adrian Peterson is, it wasn’t surprising that he came back and dominated the game. As the season went on Adrian Peterson was not only on track to break the Minnesota Vikings all-time rushing but the league as well. The way he ran the ball throughout the season it was like he was a robot who couldn’t be tackled or stopped, If you got in his way he would run over you or run past you. Besides all of these things Adrian Peterson came up 7 yards short of breaking the all-time rushing record at the end of the season. Even though Adrian came up short of the record it doesn’t take away from the freakish things he did this season. I say freakish because it’s hard to come back from a torn ACL let alone a torn MCL, this puts Adrian Peterson as the best running back in the league and arguably the best of
