I believe I am deserving of this scholarship because I have a strong work ethic, am very responsible, disciplined, and have the characteristics necessary to become successful in the career I am pursuing. First, my parents raised me to do chores since I was little. I would help do the dishes at my grandparents’ house and help my grandparents weed the garden. Also, since I was fifteen, I have been working during the summer at The Holiday Inn Express Waterpark doing housekeeping. It is tough and dirty work. I've had to deal with very impatient and polite guests. You never know what to expect when you open up the door, there could be an iron board broken and trashed, or the guest could have left the room spotless. I have had very crazy experiences
