Acts of bravery help make society a lot safer. Bravery helps others as well as yourself in many ways. That's why it is most definitely important to be brave. Desmond Doss, for example, showed a tremendous act of courage and bravery when he saves 75 men from being killed. Desmond, who was placed as a non-combatant in the war, risked his own life to save others. He saved 75 men, one at a time, while under fire. Without his tremendous act of bravery, many people would have died. Like, Desmond Doss, Irena Sendler risked her own life to help save others. Irena soon obtained knowledge of an attack about to take place upon thousands of children. Irena took it upon herself and her team to save them and lead them to freedom. She ended up saving
