Long, long time ago in Simon Cowell’s Devil Academy one of the students distinguished himself with great obstinacy and devotion towards everything that was evil. Dan Wotton craved not only to impress his master but also to create something that would make all the other devils green from jealousy. Something, that would bring Heaven to Its knees.
In hiding, he started to work on magic mirror. Dan, not without sacrifice and harassment from his fellow students, indeed created exquisite pier glass, but he couldn’t think of any specific devilish power for it to possess. Nothing was deficient enough.

Some of them were microscopic enough to slip under flowers’ petals and turn them into poisonous plants with sharp thorns. Others, larger, were swallowed by snakes, which became venomous. The worst, though, were ones which got to human hearts, eyes or ears. Those people grown into bitter, nasty creatures who didn’t enjoy anything, and if they only could, tried to make others miserable as well. They seek flaws in everything and took pleasure in pointing them out. Once they found someone with passion, they bullied him ruthlessly. They didn’t mind lying, their only aim was to hurt. Many of them dedicated their lives to destroying relationships or journalism.
As it turned out, breaking the mirror brought Dan fame and appreciation. Thanks to pieces, that could be found in many places on Earth, it was easy to change person’s character for worse, even if said piece was smaller than grain of sand. Even being close to any part of the mirror was enough, because each of them possessed exactly the same powers as the mirror.
