After reading Bible scriptures 2nd Timothy 3:16-17 and 2nd Peter 1:20-21, both scriptures are divine because they were inspired by God. Both scriptures were inspired for humanity, penned by humans for our use. The definition for divine is relating to, or proceeding directly from God or a god. All Bible scriptures are inspired by God, written to guide human beings down the path He laid for us. Scriptures are written for us to follow and to teach others during our everyday lives. God is divine and the Holy Bible is inspired by God.
Since the Holy Bible was penned by man, 2nd Peter 1:20-21 explains that God’s true meaning must be understood and accepted when we interpret scriptures. No man or woman shall interpret scripture in anyway but righteousness. Moreover, in Romans 8:28 it reads: “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” This scripture seems close to Jeremiah 29:11which states God’s plans for us are good and not evil. Jeremiah 29:11 confirms the fact that God causes even bad things to work out for our best. The Bible has a history where God uses evil for His purpose. That means that everything…all things…work together for our ultimate good. It doesn’t say that all things are good but that all things, good or bad, work to our benefit. These “all things” do not work out for the best for those who are not called by God. The opposite might be true for non-believers. The scriptures do not
