I chose dis de los muertos also known as day of the dead. It is celebrated in Mexico. It is a celebration for the dead not a bad celebration but a good celebration. Dia de los muertos starts oct 25 to Nov 3. Dia de los muertos is to honor and respect the dead. Some of my friends are from mexico and their family celebrates Dia de los muertos.
The decorations that are used in day of the dead include skulls, orange flowers called Marigolds, and tissue paper decorations. They use skull plates, cups and even silverware. They paint their face like a skull and their nose is always black. Sometimes they decorate the graves and leave food they make and eat for this celebration.
