Diamorphine is a drug, also known as heroin. It has a different name but it’s the same thing. It’s just medical grade heroin. Heroin is used as a medical drug. So why do we use diamorphine when heroin is viewed as a bad drug? Diamorphine is used as a severe pain relief drug. If you didn’t know heroin comes from the same plant as morphine hence the name diamorphine. Morphine is also a drug it causes happiness but also causes pain relief, but morphine and diamorphine are not the same thing.
