For the past two weeks I have been reading a graphic novel titled Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Cheese Touch by no other than Jeff Kinney. This type of book is a very funny to me and many other readers so it’s a humorous book. This book is also a realistic fiction book because some events that happen in the book can happen but not all. The main character of Diary of a Wimpy Kid is Gregory Heffley nickname is Greg. Gregory is often selfish and extremely abusive to his friends, he also thinks that Rowley needs his help to make it through middle school; last but not least if you read the book you will realize that throughout the book he is jealous of another character. The main character changes from abusive to friendly by the end of the story. The…show more content… The book was Greg’s mom idea. Greg said “This is not supposed to be a Diary; it was supposed to be a journal.” But since the book has the word “Diary” on it, so it was considered as a diary. Secondly, moving to middle school, in middle school it was busy and a lot harder for Greg; older students would bully him most of the time. He later found out that middle school students were the most understandable kind of people. Third, is the Cheese Touch which was one of the worst things in the school it was like the “cooties” but more intense. Next, Greg becoming famous Greg thought about writing up a book about in the story or a comic strip. Rowley and Greg was going to do it together but then Greg wants to be famous on his own so he decided to do it by himself, after all nobody becomes famous. Then, friendship Rowley and Greg’s friendship broke because of various things. One being popular in school, lies, injuries Rowley, and for getting him in trouble. Greg forgot all about Rowley and so he was mad. But in the end Rowley forgives Greg. In the end, the teenage kids that harassed them on Halloween and wanted to teach Rowley and Greg a lesson. The teenagers made Rowley eat the cheese and Greg stepped up and said he threw it out and was tired of it. When Greg did this everyone ran and everything went back to normal so Greg and Rowley become friends
