Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln were heroic men who fought for liberty and freedom. Lincoln wanted peace and liberty. Just a country without war or contention. Then there was Douglass was the survivor of pain and emotional depression, getting beaten every day. He could have gone out saying I was treated like an unequal person, I was beaten and hurt every day, now I’m going to do that to everyone else so they know how it felt.
