Introduction:
An important role is played by employee motivation in effectiveness of leadership. According to Rost (2009) the leadership effectiveness depends upon the influence process, which influences and motivates employees towards achieving common or stated goals or objectives, through individual motivation. One of the most important factor making employees to achieve goals and objectives is motivation. According to Nadar, (2008) the motivation is a tool used by leaders to make employees feel or perceive that they are doing something worthwhile. This report will analyse the impact of different leadership styles motivation of employees. The uses of different motivational theories, to develop effective workforce of employees. The different approaches used by management to manage employees for enhanced productivity. The report will also analyse the different leadership styles while change management. The last part of report will analyse the motivation and development of team leadership and team performance.

Berkshire Hathaway and VTEC have same structure. Both companies have multidivisional structure, which make up of several operating divisions. As parent company, Berkshire and VTEC can directly affect their “children company” and benefit from them. Berkshire has overall 76 businesses, which mostly operate in insurance and reinsurance product and services. Berkshire also engages in non-insurance business. VTEC has 6 enterprises and 14 affiliates operating in the garment industry.
