Most of the people in the world are recorded to have a disability that is ignored by many as it does not have a significant impact on their daily activities. Lack of self-esteem during a certain stage in life is a common problem experienced by people leaving with disability as shown by a study. The condition is not addressed, and most children end up performing poorly in school and even worse, others drop from school. The tutors fail to identify the state, and continuous pressure from the tutors or peers makes them feel discriminated and may prefer to stay isolated (Espelage et al., 2015).
Getting admission in college for a disabled student is enough hustle to make the student quit studies. Most colleges lack the necessary facilities that are needed by those with challenges in their learning. Those with the facilities tend to take only a few of the students due to the high costs of the equipment. The disabilities vary, and facilities needed should also be as diverse.

Getting a chance for admission is a great success for any student and a big achievement for a student with a disability who have to beat all odds to secure a place in college. It comes to the surprise of many parents when they learn that their blind child cannot be admitted doing a degree in engineering which could be the student's dream career (Bender & Wall, 1994).
Admission to study the course is not because of academic qualification but as a result of their disability. The student may end up settling for a business course that requires less educational skill and even worse not the student's choice. Frustration is likely, and the student also lacks the motivation to continue with studies because they are even unsure of getting a job after graduation. If proper help is not given to these students, they may end up quitting school, and those who stay in school may perform
