1. Students do not feel important in the classroom.
When students do not feel important, their self-esteem may drop. If a student does not feel accepted by their classmates or teachers, gradually these students withdraw from school life, and become disaffected from school. Some disaffected students are disruptive in class, and exert a negative influence on other students. Students connecting with peers, teachers and others. As a teacher it is vital to ensure I connect with students and create a teaching and learning environment that increases the, feelings of belonging, this will further increase the student building relationships and developing trust. This feeling of belonging reduces the student’s fear of not feeling valued or important.
