D is for Disney
I will never forget the time when my mom woke up me, my little brother, and my little sister, to take us to the airport. We were told that we were just giving my step dad a ride so he could get on a plane to go to Florida for a business trip. I looked at the flight board to see where the flight was going. The board said the flight was going to Florida but said disney after that. I was only nine when this happened. I wondered why my stepdad would be going to a disney airport. I just thought it might have been close to his work. We were walking to the gate when me and my siblings noticed my stepdad had a lot of luggage. He even had my little sisters princess suitcase. He said he needed it for more clothes. The airport we were at was very small and we couldn't see a lot of other people. We got close to the gate when we saw all the people. We wondered why everybody was at that one gate. It was also the one my step dad was going to. The second we got to the gate my stepdad said that he wasn't telling

I asked about school knowing that we still had a week left till summer. My mom said that she talked to the teacher and we were fine. We got on the plane and waited for it to leave. The plane ride was very easy considering I slept the whole way. When we got there we got off the plane and went to the front of the airport where a car was waiting for us with a big disney sign. They took us to a logged cabin in the woods and told us that we were staying there until we called for a ride. The cabin was like a large apartment on the inside with a full kitchen and three full bedrooms with bathrooms. We were told that we were staying for one week then checking out and going home. We went on roller coasters, watched movies, and even went to a water park there. Outside the park there were a lot of good restaurants that we went to like The Melting Pot and Olive garden.
