After the Great Depression, America was still struggling with its economy- people were still out of jobs, some were starving and others were still homeless. But all of that was about to changed when America is faced with a new problem- a problem that will forever change the history of America. In 1939, a European War broke out. During March of 1939, Adolf Hitler was able to take over Austria and Czechoslovakia. However, he didn’t stop there; Adolf Hitler made a pact with the Soviet Union and on October 6, 1939, the Nazis and the Soviet Unions were able to take over Poland and divide Poland between them.
